Motorola V600

I cant seam to find away to turn off the Ring Lights!

The ring lights remain on even when da phone is off. i need to take the battery off to turn it off. Its killing my battery, can anyone tell me if there is away to turn the ring lights off!!?!?!?!?!! ASAP please!
