SAME QUESTION..need help on downloading MP3's

i guess i'll keep posting till some kind soul helps me out.

If i get the usb cable, do i need to download a certain program to get mp3's? i've seen some usb cables come with cd's? i've heard of the "www.wap.russo" or however it's spelled, but how do i get those songs? can i email to my phone? PLEASE HELP.

Yes, you'll need the USB drivers and then a program to perform the transfer itself. SistorGSM is a good one.

Install the drivers BEFORE you plug the phone into the cable. Then install the program, and that should do it. In SistorGSM you'll want to upload the files under the user files section.

I've found that the best MP3 files for the phone are monoaural, 96kbps, 44khz, and 15 seconds long, just FYI.

appreciate your help...so i download the program to my COMPUTER not my phone? and where do YOU go to get your MP3's??

Yup, this stuff all goes onto your computer. Install it onto the computer and then connect the phone via the USB cable.

I use audacity and winLAME to create my own mp3's.
