Hey, does anyone know how to transfer stuff by data cable without mobile phonetools?

u can do it with out cables it u use bluetooth, but u still need mobile phone tools....just dl it, you can get it for free

You can do it using BT without MPT... That's how I've been transferring files. I think you need MPT tools if you want to, say, get pictures off your phone that you took with the camera. I don't think those they show up in the "pictures" directory.

If you are talking about trasfering games/apps then you should really consider using bluetooth becuase you can simply paste the app (.jar file) onto the OBEX file transfer and you're done. With a cable you have to use a program called MIDway... a more cumbersome process.

Oops, I meant to say paste the .jar onto the V600 OBEX Object Push icon, not the V600 OBEX file transfer icon in My Bluetooth Places on your computer.
