Motorola V600

When I receive a call, my external caller id shows a phone ringing icon, then a icon for home or mobile..etc and then the name. The only problem is that the name is only displayed partly. For example, if the persons name was Jonathan Smith, it would read ...Jonath. Not the full name. Is there a way of changing a setting to make it display the full name?, maybe scrolling it. Or is there a way of not having all those icons pop up. Does this happen with everyone who has the v600? I would really like to see the full name.
