Motorola V600

All was working fine, and then my camera crapped out. For a few months no problem. Is there a better Flash and Flex I should be using? Please let me know.

I am loving the 3 V600's we just got, but I have one issue that I can not find a way around.

In my old set up, the Moto turbo dialing (1-Touch) was set up so that our home line 1 was #1, home line 2 was #2, etc.

It can't be done cleanly in the V600 - unless someone can solve this mystery.

In my V600 phonebook, I can see the entry for Home Line 1 as speed dial #1, but when I hold that key down, it dials my voice mail. I deleted the phome book entry so nothing was in speed dial 1, and it still dialed my voice mail.

I re-entered my home line 1 in the phone book under speed dial #1. Next I went to voice mail set up, and deleted the voice mail number. At this point, SD#1 stopped working all together! It just says "No Voicemail nu...

The launch date is May 1st company wide. customer service has no idea what phones we will launch or when we will launch them. the agents and the retail sales consultants get the info on all new phones first. i can send anyone pics that don't believe we have the phone. i have the phone at my store now, cingular branded, and i've sold two. any store that does know about the phone doesn't look at sales portal to see what phones will launch.

I've looked all over for an answer to this one, and I'm hoping someone here might be able to help. I have a new (10 day old) V600 from Cingular. I put a few numbers on it by hand, then synced a bunch more from Outlook via Bluetooth and Mobile Phone Tools. The other day I discovered that while I can still open my phonebook just fine, find an entry, and dial that entry, or send an MMS or SMS message, I can no longer open phonebook entries to View or Edit them. That is, when I click on the View option using the soft button, or when I select Edit from the phonebook menu I just get bounced back to the screen I used to get to the phonebook. This problem has only appeared in the last few days; it was not always an issue but I can't think what I mig...

I have been wondering whether and unbranded, unlocked v600 would allow a data call? I noticed that if you call a fax number like a voice call the fax machine would answer. Now if you set your phone to Voice first then fax you hear a message from AT&T stating they do not allow calls of this type. The phone is some how send a signal along with the call to notify AT&T that this call is a data call. Does any one have a unbranded unlocked phone on AT&T to try and make a voice then fax call?

If my v600 is used as a modem for my PC to dial to an ISP via bluetooth; do I only need to pay the connection time as "talk time" under my voice plan? Or this type of connection using the data plan.

I am not using mMode or browsing the web using my v600 phone directly. I just use the phone as the modem for my PC.

Since I haven't done that before and would like to try that out, anyone have the answer to that will be greatly appreciated.

The main problem with the bluetooth with this phone is that many times it wont connect or give you errors while transferring files, the reason for that is that the motorola V600 has bluetooth 300 which is one of the most advanced bluetooths in the market.
Where the Nokia and Ericsson have 200 and 270 or something similar.

I wrote to motorola asking if there are any planned upgrades to fix the phonebook. They said no, but gave me a number to call to give suggestions for changes for the phones. Maybe is enough people complain, they will do something.

I'm currently on my 3rd, thats right 3rd V600!!! i love this phone but yet i HATE IT!! Reception is bad, i get a echo sometimes when i talk (i can hear my voice 2 seconds after i say something). The face gets scratched alot (i think from the number buttons). ARGHHH! anybody on there 3rd or 4th or 5th etc???

I've been reading the postings about transferring images, mp3s, etc., from your PC to the phone via bluetooth and use of mobile phone tools software.

What about the other way around? Can you transfer an image taken by the phone's camera, to your PC directly, via bluetooth?

Just wanted to let you guyz know that another easy was to send mp3z and pics to your phone is through bluetooth. I just got the Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth, from Microsoft, and it works great with the V600. It was a little tricky to get my computer and phone to recognize eachother, but i finally got it and it works great. You can send mp3s, pictures, videos, etc. to the v600 via the bluetooth. All you need the the mobile phone tools from Motorola, which u can get online for free. The bluetooth keyboard and mouse was about $100...

so..jus something for u guyz to think about if u dun wanna use all ure "kb's" up on mMode or the web to dl ****...

Let me know if anyone else has been using bluetooth to transfer stuff their ph...

Just got my v600 in the mail today and would like any help to configure the thing to use TZones (and -- please point me in the right direction!

When I receive a call, my external caller id shows a phone ringing icon, then a icon for home or mobile..etc and then the name. The only problem is that the name is only displayed partly. For example, if the persons name was Jonathan Smith, it would read ...Jonath. Not the full name. Is there a way of changing a setting to make it display the full name?, maybe scrolling it. Or is there a way of not having all those icons pop up. Does this happen with everyone who has the v600? I would really like to see the full name.

On my old V60, it would keep on beeping to let me know that I had a missed call. It doesn't seem like the V600 does that? Is there any way to make it do that?
