suncom ( at&t affiliate) has had this phone for quite a while

maybe at&t doesnt want this phone anymore. lately suncom has been getting phones before at&t. they have also had the v400 for a while.

Don't think so. SunCom does not have EDGE and this phone is an EDGE phone (faster data rates)The picture on this site is not of the T725e (go to the Motorola site for better views)
