HTC Surround
It cant get here fast enough..
Release date is Nov 8th. Also, the HD7 is being released on TMO the same day (YAY!!!). TMO got the best WP7 phone.

I'm gonna go with, uh, NO. Played with the HTC Surround and the HD7 today and have to say, the Surround is the better choice for those of you looking for a phone and not a coffee table. Better feel, better equipped (the Dolby speakers will greatly add to any Netflix viewing experience) and on a better overall coverage network.
That said, the real question was how is WP7. My wife has the iPhone 4 (iOS) and I've been looking for something similar (it's great), but not an iPhone. iOS is buttery smooth. Tried to like Android, but it wasn't doing it for me. After playing wi...

I agree with your review about the OS as compared to android and iOS, however, I do want to add that the HD7 also has Dolby and SRS surround.

Ah! My bad. Wasn't aware. Didn't notice that it did when I was playing with it. It isn't a slide-out like the Surround, though...which I like. Didn't notice a kickstand, either. Still, just feeling the two phones, the Surround had a better feel to me. Course, that could be just me. 😁

The surround seems pretty similar to the HD7 except for the screen size, but the surround is to think for my tastes. Feels like a brick.
