Poor sound quality on the other end of call
I just got this phone a week ago after being stuck with an Audiovox for 2 years that had poor battery life. Anyway what a relief to go days without worrying that my phone's battery is running out.
One question though...is there a way/ setting that I am missing because every call I place the recieving end complains they cannot hear me. I've tested this by calling my home lan # and the sound is very faint and distant.
I can hear callers from the cell great, they just can't hear me. This is so with speaker phone and without.
I travel from NYC to Philly to NE Pennsylvania. The antenna bars range from 2 to 6 bars in any location but the problem is the same.
I can't find a troubleshooting guide anywhere!
The only thing I can think of is that this phone isn't tri-mode but how come I can here calls fine?
Any help would be appreciated before my 15 day trial is up on 10/13/04.
Oh yes, I removed the plastic on the microhone...no improvement...I don't think that was it anyway coz it didn't actually cover the hole.
