also, sorry for the double post but i dont yyet how to edit my messages. Anyhow, i went to the site, signed up and then i downloaded the song. However, i don't have anything on my computer which will allow me to open up the file. I don't know maybe somebody here can help me out. Also whats the email address for our phone. isn't it our cell #@vzw.com? thanks for heelping!

First, you have to save it as a MIDI file...

Second, go to your "Manage my tunes" and you'll see links of songs you've chosen...download those links to your HD (I drag and drop them onto the HD easily enough).

Now you can upload them to vzwpix.com and mail them to your phone

ok so first of all, now that ive draged it to my HD(it's now stored in a file called "my music") then how do i upload it to verizon pictures? and how would i email it to my phone? Does that count as a pictures message or something? DOes it cost anthing?

You log onto vzwpix.com and create a message to your phone. Upload the tones from your HD to the message. Then send the message.

Upon receiving the message on your phone. Only 6 secs of each tone will play (you can send more than 1 at a time). during the playtime of each tone, hit your left "soft" key (Options) and scroll down to "save." Scroll left to right until you see "Save sound." Hit OK...do this for each tone. The entire tone will be saved (not just 6 secs).

Now you can use them in your rigntone options...you can also delete the message.

It will be considered a "pix message" of your 20/month. Or, if you don't have this option, it'll be 25 cents per email received. Make sure VZW has activated you phone to receive messages if y...

I know that im getting annoying here by asking all of these questions but please understand that i've never done this before. It says somehting about a slide show and i dont' want that. Once pick the song i want to send to myself, can't i just send it to my phone?

When you upload the song, it'll show up as a musical note on the "slide show" panel...this just moves left to right to in case you load more than 2 or 3. that's normal...

Once you've uploaded them to the created message on vzwpix.com, and you see musical notes on the "slide" panel, then type your phone number in the To: line...it should send directly to your phone...

OK thank you very much for being so patient with me! I really do appreciate it. You're sure that when i send these ringtones to myself that it does count as a picture message and not a text messsage becuase my situation sits right now is i have the 2.99/20 pictures and my billing cycle restarts tomorrow which is the 22nd. I still haven't used up all of my pictures i think i have like 6 pictures left so for me right now since i want to use up all of my pictures this month and not have any wasted, these are life free for me right now.

I only have the 20 pix package and on my last bill, there were no extra charges for all the ringtones I sent to myself and my husband's phones....I don't have the TXT message package....so have a great time!!!

Yeah whenever i have any extra picture messages left during a certain month which will probably be every month, Im' just going to download riners! I don't have to pay 1.99 for the get it now anymore.
