Just purchased this phone. Excellent. Two questions though. When I am speaking, does this phone alert me when I receive a text message? All my other phones did, but this is not. Is therre a setting I have to adjust??? Thanks.

If you go into Menu >> Messages >> Settings >> alerts, you'll be able to change the settings...

I know the light will blink if you are on the phone as well...

Thanks for info. Only lights up. Does not beep. I checked the settings.
