I'm sure someone else has asked this before, but does anyone know how I can set up my voicemail so that I don't need to enter my password when calling from my phone?

Also, is there any way to set the number of rings before my voicemail picks up? It's at like 7 right now and my friends complain.

Also also, is there a way to get that annoying voicemail lady to not say anything after my "Hey, this is me, leave a message"?

Thanks a bunch, everyone.

To the best of my knowledge, the voicemail is set thru the verizion system. There is no way that I know of to get rid of the ladie's voice.

You can put a hard pause behind your voice mail number followed by # and your password. This way you can send that each time when you call your VM.

You can change the number of rings but you have to call customer service to get this done...

Thanks, that worked. And incidentally, with this phone you get a "T pause" and a "P pause." Don't know the difference, but three T pauses did it for me.

I can't find a way to shut the lady up when people call. You can alter the "prompt level," which changes "To open personal options, please press 4" to "Personal options press 4," which is nice. But there doesn't seem to be a way of getting her to stop telling your friends how to leave a text message, callback number, etc before the beep.

I'll give customer service a call about that and the rings, thanks.

The "T" pause is a time pause meaning that it will send the info a couple of seconds. The "P" pause means that you have to push a button to send the info. Both should work for you. I have taken the "lady's" voice off of my voice mail - I will check it out again and post it later.
