my response to this comparison is really quite simple. The LG VX 6000 IS a good phone no doubt with its camera capabilities and Get It Now. In my opinion though, the Samsung a670 is much better and not just because i own one. Partially that's the reason but having owned it for about a month already I can honestly tell you that all of the features and functions that it is supposed to do and you expect it to do it does excelllently well. The battery life on the a 670 compared with all of my other phones in the past is awesome. Now, obviously depending on how much you use the battery each day will tell you how long you can leave it on without draining the battery. For myself though, I am able to leave it on when it is fully charged for about 3 ...

Would you recommend this phone above the cdm 9900 or lg 6100? I'm looking into buying this phone with my NE2, and then possibly switching if the 9900 or lg 6100 becomes available within the 15-day period. I've read good reviews about this phone, but just have one problem: the volume of the ringtones. I've had a problem with this for my current lgvx10, and have missed a lot of calls simply because I couldn't hear it. I played with the a670 in the store the other day, and the highest level (5) didn't sound loud at all. Any suggestions? Or should I just wait for the vx6100?

I personally haven't even tried out the Audiovox 9900 yet. I keep the ringer volume on level 4 and in quiet situations obviously i can hear it. When I'm in noisier situation it is a little bit harder to hear. You can max out the rigner at leve 5 and that is a bit louder. I also dont' know tht LG VX6100 only the 6000. Hope this helps.
