Activating a Hard Pause
Hi all!
i'm trying to program my phone so that when I call my home and my answering machine comes on, that the code to retrieve messages is already stored into the phone. I tried the "T" pause and my phone didn't like that when I tested it...
I want to use the "P" pause, but the directions say something about the phone waiting for a command...what prompt is it waiting for? I don't get this....HELP!

The P pause wait's till you put in the code for your answering machine { like in a bank account for security purpose}....when you tried the other pause { it's 2 sec's per pause} usually it takes 2-3 pauses most answering machines like two...

I guess then I'm missing the point...if I have to put in my code (for the bank let's say), then why would I put in a "P"? When I put in the "T" pause, I actually had to put in 14 T's as it took that long for the phone to pick up and answer...

If it's a fixed delay, just figure out how mant Ts to use. If it varies (like Moviephone for instance), put in a P.
When it gets to the P pause, it waits till you hit the SEND key and continues.

THANK YOU!!! You have been the first person to tell me it's the SEND key that the phone is waiting for...why no one else could figure this out...oh well...if you have the question, there usually is someone else wondering the same thing...
