My phone works when I turn it on. But after a few minutes, the display gets distorted, whenever I go to the menu. Sometimes, the front display also doesn't work.
Is this a hardware problem? I had the phone for a year now.

It is a hardware problem. Might be time for a new phone. Wait for the nokia 6256i! Should be out soon.
