Data Cable and Software
Hello everyone,
Does anyone know where to get the data cable for this model? Also, what software do you need.
I saw one on ebay for the A610 that said it would fit, but didn't know if anyone else had tried it.
Also, once you connect the data cable is it a drag and drop type system?

A610 cable and drive should fit for A670, but I never tried... And "drag and drop"? You mean transfer files from PC and phone? sorry, no can do...

Well yes the a610 cable works fine and drivers as long as you're planning to browse the phone's file system. The current drivers don't allow, or either I haven't figured it out yet, to connect to Verizon's Express Network, seems as if the port doesn't open even with the initialization string. Anyway bad part is that the phones is BREW 2.0, no more stealing GIN apps. Also I can't seem to find where the camcorder files are stored on the phone anywhere, I also can't get mp3 ringtones to work on the phone or I simply haven't been trying hard enough. I have been able to successfully transfer all my images and midi rigtones over my from a610 to the a670. Also I don't know how many people saw my thread on QuickLink mobile but there was a link there...
