Newbie trying to download ringtones
What's the best way to get started with downloading ringtones to this phone? This is the first cell phone I've ever owned that I've tried to download ringtones to. So I'm a complete rookie here. 😉
- How many ringtones can this phone hold?
- Do downloaded ringtones overwrite the existing ringtones?
- If memory becomes tight, can the existing ringtones be overwritten?
- I'd like to download standard ringtones, as well as some ringtones of my own creation. Do I need to use the Get It Now service for both?
- Do all downloaded ringtones invoke a charge?

I launched Get It Now and selected Get Tones. I saw three applications:
1. Modtones
2. Xringer
3. Masttones
"Info" for Masttones indicated that it has something to do with "the music and films of India". I'm confused why that choice is there. I'm skipping that one.
"Info" for Xringer says it "helps get cool pictures and polyphonic ringers" on to phones. Unfortunately, the only way I seem to be able to proceed is by paying for 1, 3, or 7 uses. Is that 1, 3, or 7 ringtone downloads, or 1, 3, or 7 uses of the application that allows me to view the ringtones? It doesn't seem possible to see the application and their library without paying first; why is that?
