well i have been researching this phone for a while and asking questions. I want this phone really bad, but now i have the choice to either get the a670 or the lg vx6000...the only difference is that the lg vx6000 can play riingtones that sing but i think i can live without that...so i just need another opinion on my choice..so basically there is absolutley no way to get singing ringtones? just polyphonic?

the 670 blows the 6000 out of the water in my opinion. I havent heard about the 6000 playing ringers with words, I think it has the same ring capabilities as the 670 so if you found a place that tells you how to put a voice ringer on the 6000 it should work on the 670. (i am interested if you can show me where you saw the 6000 can do voice ringers)

well my friend has this phone and she told me that she goes to get it now and downloads those ringtones where u can hear the person singing..its not just the tune or whatever..so if u can just go into get it now for the a670 then maybe u can download the ringtones where u hear the actual song..i might be wrong but thats why i asked

The 6000 has .mp3 ringtone capability, but the 670 does not. That is why you can hear voices on the 6000 ringers. That, plus the 6000 is mobile web 2.0 capable and the 670 is 1.0 - difference is ability to use mobile IM and other stuff that you cannot use on the 670 yet.
If that is important to you, then consider the 6000 or 7000. They may update the 670 via software, but may not be possible. Personally, I don't care too much about MP3 ringers although WAP 2.0 would be nice. I have the 670 and really like it so far.

hmm good to know, I thought the moto V710 was going to be the first mp3-ringer capable phone but I guess i had my facts wrong.
here is another post where they talk about being able to use PMD files or something which are supposedly low quality mp3s. I have never heard of PMD's or heard anything about how to do it but here is the thread

I am sure you have heard it all about the 670 vs. 6000. I have the 670 and my sister has the 6000. She loves her phone, but even she agrees that the 670 blows her's away.

lg6000 SUCKS..u can only save like 20 pictures..POINTLESS...n then FLIP is designed HORRIBLE...after a few weeks..itll squeak everytime you open the damn phone

on high quality about 30...and on low you can save 200 pictures!...you cant tell the difference between high and low quality so i just use low and now i have about 150 pictures taken
