You will get billed for used airtime. So...yes...if you dl on N/W minutes then you're not using your airtime up.
You will also get billed depending on the company and number of ringtones/games/etc. that you actually download.
You can also download multiple ringtones from eringers.com at a time and save yourself lots of money!

Download the ringtones you want for free...when you choose the tone, make sure you check off the ".midi" format...don't email it to your phone...just download it..
Go to your page with all the tones and download the tones to your harddrive.
Now go to vzwpix.com.
Create a message.
Upload the tones to your message.
You can send several tones simultaneously.
Send the message to your cellular phone number.
When you get the message, you'll only hear the first 6 seconds...dur...
