Can everyone list some things that bother you about this phone?
And if you know if it has been fixed.
(Something i want to hear about is the external lcd light...)
Thanks 😁

Great phone but...

1) External LCD - almost impossible to read without light, however, light is easy to activate using the volume button on the side of the phone and does light automatically when you receive a call.
2) Dust gathers internally (especially if you carry the phone in your pocket) on the lens of the external display, making it even harder to read without the light.
3) No USB, however, I hear that an interface cord is available for the SCH A630 (I think) will work with this phone.
4) None of these items have been fixed to my knowledge.

On the positive, the phone works great, has a great internal display, and is exceptionally easy to use. Hope this helps!

I am using a USB cable for this phone - it is the mobile office kit offered through Verizon. So far I have only used it for changes to my contact lists and to use it as a wireless modem - but it has worked great so far.

I was very frustrated with the front LCD, and the cover for the headset plug. But now that I figured out the trick to them both, I am pretty happy with the phone overall. As you may have seen in previous posts from others, the front LCD will light up if you press and hold the volume keys on the side of the phone. As for the headset plug cover, I went into the Verizon store to ask someone about it, and after a few minutes of playing with it, he figured out that if you pull it up from the back side (bottom) it puts a "bubble" in it to get your fingernail in to open it up. This is still kind of frustrating because I have big fingers that do not get into small places, but now I don't have a problem with it. Overall I really like this phone....
