Phone gets hot

Does anyone have a problem with this phone getting hot after a few minutes of use?

I have the A650 and that phone gets hot after 3-5 minutes of use.

I am thinking about switching to the A670.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

I've read in other posts that this is attributed to the fact that the battery IS the back of the phone, unlike other phones, like the Motorola v60i, where the battery is encased in the phone's housing.

The a670 can get hot as well, but I've been on it for hour-long conversations and it's never gotten to the point that I couldn't hold it...others use the headset to prevent having to hold it for that long...

That is interesting about the battery being encased in the phone. That does make sense.

Personally, I do like the phones when the battery is encased (like your example of the Motorola v60i).

Thanks, this helps a lot.

I just switched to the A670 from the 650. Paid retail (ouch), but I figured it was worth it.

It's a great lil phone...don't have many complaints with it...i've had it over a month and still like the features...no buyers' remorse here... 😁

I've had this phone since Monday, and I LOVE IT. Never had a camera phone before, thought I didn't need it, but it is a luxery to have.

Calls and reception are crystal clear!!! Love the ringers and color screen.....

And the best part, it doesn't get HOT like my A650 did!!
