Does this phone have speed-dial? I've tried loooking through the manual and their version of "speed dial" is going through the phone book, scroll to the name, and click SEND. But is there a faster way?

For example: If you wanted to call 555-748-2222, you just open up the phone, and then just type 5, and the number will pop up (maybe a few other numbers that start with a 5) and you just click SEND on the number you want to call.

im looking to buy a car charger for the 670. is it the same as the older models? i hope so. then i can pick it up on the cheap.

Does anyone know where to purchase a cradle to charge this phone? My local Verizon store didn't seem to have it in stock only the travel charger. Is there an online store that sells a compatible charging cradle?

WOW that customizing ringtone through pix msging works like a charm but how much does each pix msging cost? 🙂

in get it now it says u get a free trial of mod tones...so does that mean i can download a song for free and not get billed for it ever?

While I was visiting in CA my power light in the top right hand corner started to blink green intermittently. I called Verizon and got some story about roaming even though I was not in a roaming area. Now that I'm back in CT it's still doing it. Has this happened to anyone else; and what's it all about?

I bought 3 phones last night to replace my old equipment. This
morning, my wife called me from her cell phone and the volume in the
earpiece in both phones kept dropping out to the point where we
could barely hear each other. I tried calling from a landline and I
could hear her but she said I kept fading in and out. We tried it
the other way(she called me) and we had the same problem. We never
had this with our old phones(startac, v60c). Does anyone have any
suggestions?

On my previous phone (Motorola v60) I was able to listen to my voice mail messages without entering the password.
I entered couple "pauses" and the password after *86 and saved it as my new voice mail number and then it automatically dialed it.
It worked on my previous phone but I can't get it to work on this one. What am I doing wrong or maybe this phone doesn't have this capability? please help 😕

On the side of the box that the phone came in, it has what Get It Now offers. One of them is getIM under the "Messaging" section. Does this mean this phone will be able to have AIM on it sometime?? (soon hopefully).

Is anyone else having any problems with dust gathering in the front display? It's getting to the point where I can't see the display unless I get the front display to light up. I tried using a duster can to blow some out, but that just made it worse. It seems as though there is a small gap between the phone and the display window, so dust is able to get through, especially since my phone is in my pocket all day long.

When sending yourself ringtones through vzwpix.com, what file should the audio be in?

I tried .midi, and the phone said it did not support audio/midi files.

Hello - I have changed my ringtone for incoming calls - and that works great. (Thanks to everyone who gave the 411 on eRingers).

However, I have tested changing my tone for alerts and data, but my change to the tone isnt working. The tone that continually rings for missed calls and new vm is one of the preloaded rings.

I was in a meeting and I put my phone on silent...and the phone started to ring b/c i missed a call and had a new vm.

Can anyone give me help on this? Do I change alerts and data?
