Battery Dies HARD & FAST.... SLOW to RECHARGE

I am not a stranger to smartphones or the sacrifices you make to have an all in one device. I understand and have told people that just like you do not but a Lincoln Navigator for it's fuel economy you do not buy a smartphone for how well it conserves a battery but this phone is ridiculous!

BEFORE I am inundated with " BASIC Smartphone 101 replies from the peanut gallery..." I am fully aware of all the tips and tricks to limit battery usage.

Maybe it is a Samsung issue as this is my 1st Samsung since I traded my SPH A900 (Blade) , LOVED that phone HATED the battery... all it needed was a better battery, FTP on the bluetooth and an SD card slot and that phone would of been PERFECT but alas I did upgraded to a Treo 700wx in late 2006 ..

There are no OEM Extended batteries available for this until and their only solution is to purchase an extra battery which does come with a charger that charges the phone independently of the phone which is cool but the back of the phone and the clips that hold it in feel flimsy and I do not have the confidence in its construction to stand up to repeated battery swaps just to maintain what I would consider NORMAL smartphone usage...

I am STILL within my 14 days but off all the phones that are offered by my carrier now, this is the only one that meets my needs... and the only other offerings are the HTC EVO LTE... which at release was a sore disappointment, or the Apple iPhone 5 which has been even a bigger disappointment and drew a collective YAWN at the time of its release a few weeks ago...

I guess, under the circumstances, I am stuck with this device for the NEXT 22 freaking months.... 😡
