Just Bought One

I just picked the 822 up on Thursday from Verizon. If iPhone and Android had a child, it would be Windows Phone. Simply the best experience os any mobile OS in my experience.

I can honestly say that this is the best Windows 8 phone out there. It may not be the flagship of the line, but I still prefer its size, power and flexibility.
First off, the unit is very comforatble to pocket and hold onto during calls. The removeable battery and SD card are a huge bonus. Wireless charging is built into the back cover so all I need is the charging base. Even though phones keep getting bigger and thinner, I think that less is more in this case.
The screen is beautiful, bright and crisp. The phone is responsive as Windows Phone always is. Boot ups are quick and button placement is vastly superior to the HTC 8X.
The camera is amazingly good. Even though it lacks some of the performance of the 920, this camera is easily the best of any smartphone I have owned and the first to not wash-out the subjects when using the flash.
The LTE seems to hang on strong and WiFi and BT connect quickly so far. I turned off NFC to save power and speaking of power, the 1800mah battery seems to go all day unless you're using a ton of GPS. The speakers are loud although a bit on the hollow sounding side. Most phones have terrible speakers anyway and the fact that these even get loud is amazing.
Overall, I highly recommend this phone if the 920 is too big or you're not on at&t and you have an aversion to horribly thin phones. Actually, this would be the ONLY choice then at this time.
