Need help with two A650 problems please
I just got an A650 and am struggling with two features. I'm hoping there's a solution, because the two of them together are enough to make me return the phone.
1. I don't want to hear a ringer when someone leave me a voice message. I would like to leave the normal call ringer on, but if I choose not to answer I do not want to hear a ring 30 seconds later when a message has been left. I think I've tried everything. Is there a way to turn this annoying feature off?
2. Caller ID does not work. When I get a call, the display shows the incoming phone number with area code (even if it's local), but fails display the corresponding name of the person in my Contacts list. This occurs even if the Contact phone number includes the area code.
Overall, it seems like a nice phone, but I'm shocked at the poor foresight of the two problems above. These aren't exactly new concepts, because my five year old StarTac does both correctly. Am I missing something?
