Battery life?
I'd be curious to hear what your real life experience with battery life on the 9900 might be. The listed life is 3.3 hours talk time and 330 hours of standby.
I have a Motorola T720 which has a listed standby time of 225 hours; I'm lucky if I really get 60 hours. Excuse my skepticism, but once bitten twice shy.

Being a past owner of the T720, (which I hated) The battery life doesn't seem to be too bad on the 9900. I have been playing around with mobile web and being version 2.0 is graphically oriented, it sucks more power than that of the predecessor. I may purchase the extended battery so this will give more talk and standby time.

I too owned two Motorola T720's. They were OK except for the incredibly poor battery life. I brought them back within a week in exchange for two Motorola v60i's. I just retired them in favor of a couple of Audiovox CDM9900's.
So far I very satisfied with the CDM9900's. I have a few issues such as the desire for shorter, quieter startup and shutdown tones and a charger that will actually function in my 2004 Honda Accord (Verizon/Audiovox"s won't).
The jury is still out here on the battery life question. So far, it's been disappointing, Considering that I dont use it for games, web browsing or music and have not made long, or many, phone calls. I'll have a better feel for it in another week.

I just bought this phone today and I know that this battery does have a short life due to the fact I also own the 9950/VM4050(Sprint) which is the same phone... different carrier.I suggest going to Ebay and doing what I did and buy an extended life battery for $7 + S&H. You will not be disappointed, I got one for my Sprint phone and I charge it about every 4-5 days depending on talktime/pix/games/and web usage.
Hope this Helps
