Audiovox CDM-9900
Real Information ...
I was just curious (as many others are, according to these threads) if anyone has any REAL, FACTUAL information as to the release date of the VZW Version of this phone. If so, Please post it ASAP. I am a VZW Rep., and I have already had customers asking me about the 9900, and I too am waiting for its release.

Back in November of last year I E-Mailed Audiovox about this phone, and they said it was due out the end of Q1 '04.
I E-Mailed them again the end of January when
the CDM-9950 (VM4050) Sprint version came out
and they said the CDM-9900 (Verizon Version) was still in testing and probably will not be out until the end of Q2.
If you want any more up-to-date info, then I'd suggest that you E-Mailed Audiovox yourself.
I was going to wait until April and E-Mail them again about it.
Verizon still has the V810 to be released before the CDM-9900.

I work for Radioshack, I've been in contact with Audiovox and Verizon, both have assured me the real exoected release date is mid April. I can forward the e-mail if you would like.

Whats sad is we shackers probably know as much or more about phones (other than release info) than those who work for Verizon and Sprint.
