E-Mail Client issues

I am an independent OT contractor and have issues accessing email at client sites where they have the internet locked down. I purchased this phone for the BT and because it has it's own email client. I am unable to use the email however, and after searching on Google, it appears that this is an issue with this phone on Cingular. My question is has anyone gotten this to work with POP email (ie ISP provider, Yahoo, etc..) or does it not work with Cinular at all? I could use some info ASAP as I will be returning the phone if this feature is unavailable.

THANKS!!!

I spoke to tech support at Cingular and they state that there is a know issue with email. Nokia has been notified, but there is no eta yet on a fix.

I do have the v600 also and have that configured to recieve my comcast.net POP3 email. Even on the v600 there are size restrictions, so you may not recieve all emails.

The Cingular Direct store I ma at today is 810-732-0364 if you have any other questions.

u must register at cingular.com thru media net and then activate a pop3 address on their web site for this to work also go to nokia and send the settings to your phone
