Anyone utilize the radio on the 6230? Is it worth me buying the headset?

If you buy from Amazon to get the rebate deal, they don't include any headphone equipment. Maybe there's a rule about no refurbished earpieces...

I bought the nokia hs-8 headset on fleabay for around 25 and it works great, as for listening to radio... I almost always find myself pissed off at the ads and listening to mp3's but the radio seems to work great when I do listen to it.
Probably 90% mp3 listening and 10% radio listening though. I will point out that on the hs8 headset the antenna portion for the radio in the phone is in the portion from the phone up to microphone, so sometimes for better reception I have to lift and hold the wire up. (This is usually solved my clipping the microphone to my shirt collar)

i dont know why yours didnt come new with headphones because mine certainly did. now if only i could increase the volume so i could listen to music while riding scooter hmmm....

Consider a Pop-Port-to-Headphone adapter instead of the Nokia headset that has the Pop-Port plug married to their headset.
They are on Ebay for about $4. This will allow you to use any headset with a standard 2.5mm mini jack. The advantage is your choice of headset style and quality, more headset for the price, and you can replace it when it breaks or gets lost.

I meant to add the quality of sound from the radio has more to do with the size/quality of the headset than the 6230 radio.
