Motorola V400
phoen tools issue
So here is my problem just wanted to see if anyone has had this issue and had any idea's on how to fix it.
I installed and upgraded my MPT to 2.20 and then upgraded my driver using the " P2K_driver_2.3" set I was then able to see the my v400 folders in the multimedia browser. So then I un-installed PST 6.7 as soon as I did that I was unable to see the folders anymore it's like it shuts down the com port every time I connect. So I uninstalled PST I also un-installed MPT and what xp sees as my motorola usb modem. I went throught the whole install process again upgraded the drivers and it is still closing the com port. I then restored my computer to the week before I installed MPT and re-installed again but I am still having the same proble...

Where did you find the "P2K_driver_2.3"?
Also, I have the same problem (basicly everythign works except the multimedia options). I found one site that said the FutureDial brand cable does not work with MPT and that is the cable I bought. So I was going to try to find a new cable.

I found them by searching that exact phrase in google. I've heard the same thing about the future dial you should be able to get one pretty cheap off of ebay

You guys are right. I've read on all the message boards that the Future Dial cable will NOT work with the multimedia functionality on Motorola Phone Tools. I picked up one of those cheap cables off Ebay for about $0.50 (plus shipping) and it's worked just fine.
