According to the Cingular Sales Portal they started shipping on Nov. 1st. They'll gradually be phased in as the stock of 32k SIM's get depleted. Give it another month or so and they'll be commonplace. But you should be seeing them hit stockroom shelves probably by the end of this week.

I haven't used it in the a630 but i have used it in a 6600 and when i had an e715,d415 and v600 and it wasnt too bad. You have to either turn off and on the phone again to register the other carrier sim, or other sim or do a soft power cycle on the phone to do basically the same thing. It's nice to have to carry only one piece of equipment, but if you need to take calls on each phone as much you will be doing a lot of turning your phone on and off. so if you use two numbers frequently, dont, if you have a personal private number that you use for only specific situations, it could work.
