Thank you for contacting Motorola e-mail support. We really appreciate your interest in our brand and our products.
Regarding your concern, unfortunately we do not have the availability date for the A630 for Cingular. Please note that when cellular products launch, the timelines are often defined by agreement between Motorola and the phone carrier who will be selling the product on our behalf. Because of this, the dates that we are given are not always specific.
You may purchase an unlock version of this model and activate it with Cingular but you should contact your carrier first to make sure they will be willing to do so.
For further information regarding this or any other subject, please do not hesitate to visit our website www.motorola.com or contact our Customer Care Center at 1-800-331-6456, where one of our agents will be happy to assist you. Our hours of operation are from Monday to Friday from 8AM to 7PM Central Standard Time.

This looks like an EXACT copy of what I received in January. Not exactly a thoroughly researched answer. Geez, why can't we get a straight answer from somebody. We keep gettting the run around from both companies. 😡

I've become content with the idea that Cingular will not get this phone. I've already begun looking elsewhere. Probably get the new Samsung even though I REALLY wanted a QWERTY. The lack of information on this phone is beyond discouraging. 😢

Me too. After work today I'm going to check out the treo 650. I really needed a new phone before I travel overseas and with the discourageing news I'm hearing from people here and my rep who has emailed me I'm giving in and splurging on the treo. I'm out of time.
