VX7000 Front LCD

Quick question for everyone. I'd like to get the Verizon Wireless text off of the front LCD on this phone. There is an option in danners under display to change the front LCD, but it doesn't seem to work. Does any know how or if that text can be changed.

I think you have to do that with that cable and some software. I saw that thread in the howards forum. The only time that your banner will show in the front is if you dont have any service or your out of the service area.
