LG VX-7000
vx7000 v. v265 analog a plus?
I have just purchased the moto v265 - not a bad deal but the camera and screen resolution sucks, the thing is that it has great reception. I am considering switching to the LG vx7000 but can't seem to understand if it has analog capabilities or not. It says "plus AMPS 800 on VX-7000A variant". Can anyone offer some advice that would let me believe the vx7000 has great reception? and/or answer my analog question? 🙂

imo, motorola has better reception than LG. my V60i has great reception. i tried the latest VX6100 and had to return it bec. reception just is no good esp. if signal strength is not at 4 or 5 bars. with just 3 bars, the LG would switch between digital/Analog/no signal in my house even if it's just on my desk. i think this resulted to having poor battery life.
i don't know about the vx7000 but so far i've read about older LG models having the same issues. i doubt if the vx7000 doesn't have this problem.
