Question
I just picked up this phone the other day. I noticed when I went into "View Timer," it says that I made a roam call. This is very confusing since I haven't been more than a mile from my house since I got the phone. Does anyone know if I will be charged for this call? Is there something on the phone that says if I am roaming when I make a call or answer a call? Thanks.

When the phone's banner says extended network instead of Verizon Wireless...it is considered roam.

when your phone is initally programmed its a roaming call...something close to a minute...everybody's phone has that much roaming in it...when your phone says extended network, your using one of Verizon's roaming partners like Alltel or Sprint and you're not charged anything extra
