emailing ringtones
Can someone just please tell me where i can find good polyphonic ringtones for free and how to email them to my phone? Thats all i want to know

There is a "free" way. For me, i prefer actual songs with the voice rather than just the melody.
1. Register your phone at www.vzwpix.com (its free)
2. Goto walmart.com (or any other site that has mp3 music clips)
3. Choose the music clip you want by right clicking on the link and hitting "SAVE TARGET AS".
4. When prompted, put in the title you want and put the extention (.mid) after. "example: usher.mid" Do not save it as an mp3 file. Save it under "all files" in the pulldown menu.
5. Go into your email via hotmail or whatever and email the sound clip as an attachment to your phone. The address you email it to should be [email protected]. (Example: [email protected])
6. You should receive it within a minute or so

I've been trying to do this but my email comes back as undeliverable. I contacted Verizon and they said they have blocked this feature because they want us to buy these. Any idea why these won't go via email?

I updated by usint the *228 and the .mid goes, but then I get an error stating "unsupported content type message/rfc822 - any ideas?

😡 I get the text just fine and it even shows the attachment with my .mid file, but all i can do is read it, how do i open the file or send to my ringers? (emailing:50cent.mid) is what my text message says

The only thing u have to do is registered. and there are instruction on how to use bitpim. and the web address for that is bitpim.org. to use that u need to buy a data cable and that comes with drivers to install on your computer. good luck and hope this helps u.

thanks for the help but i am trying to figuere it out without the cable becasue i am getting rid of the phone next month and don't want to buy the cable. Some people on here were posting they were sending them as email attachments.

When I go to www.vzwpix.com and click "Join Up" I get a 'page cannot be displayed' message. Any ideas, or should I just wait it out?

After taking pictures with the camera , and saving them to pix. gallery on the phone. Whne I go back to look at some of the pictures they are blank , meaning it's just a sold white where the picture should be. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

Hi! Thank you. The day after I had the problem that's what I did. I also took the battery out and just put it back in . Everything was fine after that. No problems.

ok so I did one that worked because it was already saved. But I tried to save one today and it won't work because it goes straight to quicktime and I can't save it from there! HELP!

If you want free ringtones all you have to do is record a voice memo with a song and set it as a ringtone. that's how i get my ringtones. I dont pay.

If you have GET IT NOW then you can go to get pix and pick a picture program... and load it that way.
