as it appears on this forum according to phonescoop there will be a vx7000a version which will be tri-mode, anybody aware of that? any inside info on this? this is really important as i see the audi9900 aint coming out so fast but a trimode phone is a must with all the analog out there.

Don't know if they will have a tri-mode later, but apparently the one they are going to release 1st is all digital. If you go on the Verizon website under the zip of "99999" then you can see the description and it says "all digital." Hope this helps!

I also would much prefer the tri-mode version. Does anyone know if tri-mode would be a software upgrade or a hardware upgrade?
