not offically for sale, but i know that most of the stores have them in the back, but arent allowed to sell.... when i asked a guy over the phone if i could fondle one for a little while he said no. but i know they are in the huntington store at least, as when i called this morning a woman said yes.
so im calling every day, twice a day, the huntignton and hicksville stores, asking... once at 9:30am and once around 2pm

I just talked to a rep at the Verizon Wireless store at 146 Montague St in Brooklyn, NY. She said they will have it for sale on July 1 for $250, not including the $50 rebate and the $100 "free every 2" credit or new service credit. Basically, I can get the phone for $100. I didn't call any other stores.
As an aside, the vx6000 will be for sale for $150 with the same rebate and credit terms as above, but I can't see them keeping that price with the new model coming out.
