Just Got My 7000

I just got my 7000 a few hours ago and I have to say it is an amazing phone. The detail in the menus is phenomenal. The menus are easy to use. This is my first LG phone so I can not compare it to the 6000 but the 7000 is a very nice phone. I like the blue part on the front and the front LCD screen is very nice. The phone is a little big but that is of no concern for me because I have been waiting for a phone for these features from Verizon since Sprint released the Sanyo 8100 so I will be keeping with this phone for a long time (probably until the 8000 is released or other Ev-Do phones). The picture quality is very nice for a camera on the go. I have a 5 megapixel camera already so I am not worried about have tremendous picture quality. I will just use it for snapping quick pix when I dont have my camera on me. I have not played with video messaging yet because I am on the extended network but I will once I get back on the Verizon network. The keypad does not stay lit for more then like 7 seconds or so but you just hit a key and it lights right back up. The red menu bars can not be changed but again that is not that big of a deal. I focus more on the features a phone has rather then if Im able to change the colors of it. Overall I give this phone an 8.5 out of 10. The size is whats holding it back from being a 10.

FYI...I have a Nokia 3589i for sale in new condition with lots of faceplates, original box, holster, 2 AC chargers and manual. I am about to put it on eBay but if anyone wants to make me an offer then email me at bland_e@hotmail.com

😁 Way cool. If you have the time, can you tell us (well, me I guess) if the ringtone can be heard through the hands free headset? Also, does it have a telephone ringtone (vs. dance music) available? Finally, do you think, personal opinion, that a non-geek will find it easy to use once its set up? Thanks in advance if you're able to answer.

Yes the ringtone can be heard thru the headset because I use it whenever I get in the car. Yes it does have some "non dance music" ring tones as well. If you dont like them then you can download some via get it now or record your own. Those options are right on the menu to select the ringtone. And yes the phone menus are very simple to use, its probably the simplest phone I have had. 😁
