Just picked mine up.

I signed up for the 2 year contract so it was $249.99.

I had $100 credit for renewing my 2 year deal so I paid $150.00 for it. Came to $158.56 with tax. Plus I get a $70 mail in rebate. So I will have paid $88.56 for the phone. Pretty sweet deal.

I had to pay full retail, i'm not eligible for an upgrade until March, lol. Anyway I went into the store to pick up the phone today and I alreayd planned on paying full retail and I went in and they didn't have any test models on the floor or any dummy models. I asked for the phone and they said it's in the back so I said could you go get one.

Since i'm not the primary user they wouldn't let me buy one. I said I did...

I went in at 10am and they had to go digging in the back, needless to say they were all still confused about what the new promotions were, and some still didnt even know about it. After about 45 minutes of confusion, I was finally out of there.

i picked up my phone 2 days ago now in the detroit area, it was out on display with about 3 other floor models, they went into the back and grabbed one set it up and i was out the door in the matter of mintues, best deal i've ever seen.
i was eligable for the new every 2, and plus a 100 dollar discount for my old phone, on top of that i got the 70 dollar mail in rebate, so basically i paid $30 for the phone out the door

Hi,

Can you tell us how you got it for 30 out the door? From what I've heard:

249.99
- 70.00 (rebate)
- 100.00 (every 2)
= 79.99 + Tax

Am I missin something? I'd like to get your deal if possible! Please let us know.

thanks.

personally i don't really konw how it worked out,
i know i got the rebate, the new every 2, plus they gave me another discount for handing in my old phone, (which they let me keep 🙂 ) i paid 105.99 on my credit card out the door, then i can send in the rabet which gets me to $35 dollars, i think they may have acutally screwed up but i'm not complaining,

Does anyone know anything about the release date of the 8000?

From what I understand its your moblie phone number @vzwpix.com.

For example if your number was 1234567890 then the email address for your phone would be [email protected].

I hope this helps.

that wont let you play a video, in fact you have to change the file to a .3g2 file? anyway, thats how u can have it play video. also it has to be under 350kb of it wont be accepted. i think after those 2 steps have been done then you can send it to the phone #@vzwpix.com

Can't email a picture to the phone and CS says its not possible, I don't believe what they say, so what am i doing wrong?
I email it to my #@vzwpix.com and nothing happens, tried as an attachment, as included in the body of the email, to no avail, can only send picture to the phone from vzwpix site and when i get it, they somehow have resized it and it comes up tiny and doesnt fill the screen.

Please help, I'm sure I am doing something wrong...

If it tells you to go to a website, then you dont' have picture messaging on your Verizon billing account. Call *611 and ask them to put either a package or pay as you go onto the account.

YGTBSM!!! What is the problem with pricing??? I was told something completely different and yet a few stores away, they're pricing it even different from mine or reported here. WTF, over? Hey, I like VZW but their pricing on this one, at least the info at the store level, is just plain silly.

Once again, the store that I go to, the only one in the area, the reps are pretty much stupid and heading south. Most of the stores I've been in have great reps with a lot of knowledge. This particular one is sad and a very poor representation of almost all the VZW people I've come in contact.

But I digress.... I was offered the NE2 credit, or a store credit of $70 + the rebate of $70, so it was $109+ & tax out the door. A few stores over ...
