Hello, I'm new here and I had a question. I just picked up the 7000 on 4th of the July. I love to be honest. I'm not sure if I should've waited till the 8000.. but it's ok.

Ok, to my question. I hear you can send an Mp3' to your phone. So I tired it.. I changed the mp3 to .mid and uploaded it to my yahoo account and sent it out. I never recieved it. How come?

To Email it to the phone is it .. moblie#@vzwpix.com?

Is there a speicifc size it can't go over.. cause I sent like a 2 mins song to my phone.

I'm just trying to find out what i did wrong.. thanks!

Yeah, I think the size limit is somewhere around 300 KB. Try making the files mono instead of stereo, and lowering the bitrate (but not too much, I've been using 96kbps). Even then, you'll still have to cut them down to 30 - 60 sec.

To get around the size limit, you might consider getting a data cable. See other threads for instructions on how to use a VX6000 cable from RadioShack with the VX7000.
