THIS IS A VERY NICE PHONE THAT VERIZON IS WORKING ON, BUT AS YOU CAN SEE WITH THE UPCOMING SAMSUNG A610, THE PHONE WAS APPROVED BY THE FCC IN JANUARY 2003 AND THE PHONE STILL HAS NOT COME OUT....LETS HOPE THEY GET IT OUT QUICKLY.

It certainly won't be out by the end of 2003. My guess is that, like the VX6000 was in 2003, it will be out sometime mid-year 2004. By then the VX6000 will have dropped down into the VX4400's price point, the 4400 will either have been end-of-lifed or replaced by the VX4500 or VX4600 at a lower price point, and the VX7000 will be ready to take over the top of the LG line at Verizon.
Unfortunately just because a new model has been announced and approved by the FCC, it doesn't mean that the manufacturer is ready to ship it in quantity or the carrier of choice is ready to support it.
