Can you change the banner on the front from Verizon Wireless? to anything else? Can you get rid of the large time?

Under normal use, no you can't change the banner and no, you can't get rid of the time. You can only switch between digital and analog clock, and the latter lookers even worse. I think some folks have had some luck making changes using a program called BitPim and a cable reworked to fit the 7000. I wouldn't recommend this for most users, however.
