So, is Verizon going to have an exclusive on this phone for 6 months like the 4400 and 6000 so other companies can't sell this phone until that time is up?

I'm kinda curious as to what 6000 users think of the 7000. Are you guys happy with the 6000, or will you switch to 7000 when it comes out?
Thanks

I love my 6000. It has prob the best UI of any phone I have ver owned. I think the 7000 is gonna be so much better than the 6000 in terms of the cam's easy of use though. The external screen and swivel cam will be a HUGE advantage over even the best Sanyos. I have high expectations and I doubt I will be let down.

As far as I understand from my friends it will have an 1mb pixel camera on it!

If that's true (and "1mb pixel" means 1 megapixel), that's 325% more picture resolution than the the regular camera phones with just 640x480 (0.307 megapixel) resolution. Heck, even 1024x768 is less than one megapixel! 😁

THE 7000 IS GOING TO BE THE BEST PHONE THAT VERIZON IS GOING TO CARRY FOR A WHILE, YOU HAVE TO REALIZE, THAT THE PHONE DOESN'T HAVE A LOT OF CHANGES FROM THE 6000, SO ALOT OF THE TESTING WON'T BE NEEDED, AND AS FOR ANY OTHER PHONE COMING OUT SOON AFTER THAT WITH OUT A YEAR OF TESTING, PROBABLY NOT!

Do you have any idea when this phone will be available and does it have a speaker-phone as well?

I personally have a V60 but my phone's personality is sketchy at best. Due to that I use my roommate/best friend's VX6000 nearly everyday. I bought him it, and got the first one in our area on the first day it came out. I like the phone a lot. The inside color screen is very nice, I think it's easy to use, the phonebook has a lot of features, and (other than its slight eggshape) it is a pretty attractive phone. Haven't had a single problem with it either. I don't know if any problems have arisen since the popularity went up in the phone (LG trying to meet the demand -- quality control goes down), but this early model has so far proved well. Anyway...the VX7000 looks like an even better phone. It's so much more attractive than the (also swive...

This phone has some very cool features to it. First of all, it has a flash built-in. The 6000's biggest downside was that the lighting conditions needed to be really good for the picture to be crisp. That's fixed in the 7000. Second, this phone can record small video clips that you can send to others with that phone, or you can email them. To answer another guy's question, it will not have a speakerphone built-in. From what I've heard, the phone should be coming out in late March or early April.

Can definately agree with the lighting conditions...sometimes it's real hard to get a picture that isn't too dark. (Of course I don't expect studio quality photos from a cell phone.) But either way the flash should hopefully fix that problem. I'm curious to actually see the VX4500 that's coming out today in person. If it isn't what I'm looking for (then my V60 must live on :cry🙂, my father said he may be interested, especially since I told him about the speakerphone and voice recognition. Will report my findings if I get a chance to check it out.

(Checked out the HowardForum on the Motorola V810...I still can't believe it's smaller than my V60! People still comment today on how tiny the V60 is...and this one is even smaller. I just hope ...
