I couldn't wait any longer for the Moto V710 especially since I heard they are still having problems and need to update the firmware. Am I making a mistake here?

Well: I had a 710 3 days ago. I did not turn it on but I charged it and played with it. It was cool and futuristic. But I did not think it was worth all of the hype and money. I took it back and bought a 7000 today. So far I love it, great phone. solid and easy to use.. it is not that big either it is just bigger than a micro phone.. hope this helps.

I dont understand. Whats so bad about the V710 that its WORSE than the VX7000? And its not that more expensive than the VX7000 to say that it's too expensive. $319 = $70 M.I.R. = $250. I think the VX7000 is $219.

I got my 7000 for $80.00 not $219.00. I think it's a matter of opinion. The V710 has a few more features, i.e. bluetooth, speaker phone, MP3 but not everyone needs those things. If you do go with the 710, if not the 7000 is a great phone and as far as I can tell all the bugs are worked out. 😁
