Just got the phone today and my front screen goes blank after a while. It doesn't show the time or date or anything. Is this just my phone or is that the way it is?

That's just the way it is... conserves battery power.

I think that is how most of the newer phones are. my vx4600 was the same. Just tap any side button and it comes on. no biggy. 😁
