voice memo?

OK. Ever spec sheet for this phone (including the one on this site) says the LG 7000 has voice memo (up to 4 minutes), yet nowhere in the phone's user guide does it mention it, and I can't find it on the phone or how to operate it. Can anyone clue me in here? Am I missing it, or are the spec sheets wrong?

If your holding the phone, press and hold the bottom left side key for a couple seconds, then press ok to start recording. It will save your memo with your ringtones. I think this is the memo frunction LG is talking about.
