Samsung Galaxy S5 (GSM)
AT&T Lollipop 5.0 - Video Exposure flaw
Still photo's respect the metering, but video takes the whole frame's brightness (ie: brighter white background) into account and leaves the foreground subject in shadow.
I've compared the SAME SCENE (college room with large whiteboard in background) from the same camera with KitKat (4.4.2 at the time) and the exposure is clearly worse under lollipop.
I know this is technical and nit-picky to most users, but its very disappointing. Especially given how long AT&T takes to roll out updates to the S5, I'm not expecting them to EVER fix this, and maybe never update the device again.
Anyone else notice this problem? Have a solution/workaround? Know where it can be reported for possible fix next update (if ever)?
