Change where it sais Cingular

Is there a way to change the company banner so the phone dos not say Cingular anymore??? I used to know of a Code somethign like.
Menu 2887* does that ring any bells. Any help would be greatly appriceated.

Not Possible, The banners are set by Cingular's network now.

But can you at least add a second banner somehow to personalize the display?
