What is the big deal about Gmail?
someone please explain to me why I need this and how it pertains to my v710 and verizon account.
I already have a Yahoo account and a business email account. why would i need a 3rd?

When you have to sign up for websites to access content or you sign up for special offers, use something like a gmail (or yahoo or hotmail) account. Its a legitimate account you check every couple of weeks, but not the one you give out to your friends.
