it took me about a week to get it.
I had one that I bought from radio Shack and it is like the one for sale for 99 cents. It would only play stereo if you didnt push it all the way in. The one that I just got works great though and you can push it all the way in.

the 99cent one is the same as radioshack's and does not work in any manor pulling it out part way will risk damaging the phone and only play mono in both ears.
